Best Mexican Food in Grand Junction

Grand Junction has a wide variety of Mexican restaurants with well-loved traditional dishes, family recipes and modern Mexican cuisine. Diners will find plenty of family friendly dining choices with an abundance of tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and of course freshly made tortillas and chips and salsa. Here are a few of our favorite Mexican restaraunts in Grand Junction.

Azteca’s Family Mexican Restaurants has two locations in Grand Junction and has been serving authentic Mexican food to the people of Grand Junction since 2005. Consistently rated one of the “go to” places for Mexican food in town Azteca’s is known for their friendly service, unforgettable Carne Asada tacos, fresh and favorable guacamole and large portions at great prices. Azteca’s is a casual dining restaurant with low key décor and even a drive thru window. They are open 7 days a week from 11am until 9:00pm Sunday thru Thursday and from 11:00am to 9:30pm Friday and Saturday.

Fiesta Guadalajara has five locations in Colorado including one in Grand Junction at 710 North Avenue. Fiesta Guadalajara is a family owned restaurant with inviting and fun décor, and a menu featuring regionally used ingredients that are authentic and full of flavor. Customers love their fajitas, chill relleno’s, carne asada and their refreshing margaritas. Visit their online web page for printable coupons and they feature some amazing daily lunch specials. They are open 7 days a week from 11am until 10pm Sunday through Thursday and from 11am until 11pm Saturday and Sunday.

Las Marias Mexican Restaurants is in downtown Grand Junction at 118 South 7th Street and is consistently a local’s favorite for fresh and authentic Mexican food. Las Marias offers a very large menu serving everything from traditional Mexican breakfast options such as huevos rancheros to American breakfast with pancakes, omelets and biscuits and gravy to lunch and dinner options with everything from traditional Mexican food options like fajitas, tamales, tacos and burritos to the numerous seafood options including shrimp enchiladas and grilled tilapia. The green chili sauce, chicken mole, and chili relleno are always crowd pleasers. They have great drink specials and live music to enjoy with your meal. They are closed on Mondays and open the rest of the week at 6:00am for breakfast. Las Marias offers a large variety of gluten free and vegetarian options on their menu.
